Meet Dominique McDuffie-Turner, a passionate advocate for underrepresented communities with a dynamic career spanning the worlds of entertainment, technology, and community engagement. With a foundation deeply rooted in film and television, Dominique has left her mark on award-winning TV networks.
From the intricate details of pre-production to the final touches of post-production, she has played a pivotal role behind the scenes, contributing to the success of various on-screen productions. Her expertise extends beyond the entertainment industry. Dominique's journey has taken her from prestigious venues like the United Nations to iconic spaces like Gotham Hall, where she flawlessly contributed to events ranging from stage productions to high-profile conferences and trade shows. In 2017, Dominique ventured into the tech sector, starting as the CEO's executive assistant.
Through determination and dedication, she swiftly ascended the ranks, transitioning to office management and eventually securing the position of Director of Community Engagement in just three years. Now, with seven years of experience in the tech world, Dominique has ventured into entrepreneurship, founding her own company, "Community Architects." At Community Architects, Dominique wears the hat of a CSR consultant, providing invaluable insights to businesses, academic, and business entities, ensuring that their practices align with principles of social responsibility. Additionally, she has taken up the mantle of an educator, offering courses that promote equity and access within the STEAM industries, empowering students to forge their paths in technology and beyond.
